POSITION SUMMARY:
Bitstream is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Systems Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will provide vital IT support to our clients via the IT Helpdesk, emphasizing effective problem-solving and exceptional customer satisfaction. Your key responsibilities will include managing user accounts and ensuring the seamless operation of email and VOIP systems. By adhering to the principles of least privilege and following Standard Operating Procedures, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our high service standards.
We are looking for candidates eager to learn new technologies and enthusiastic about growing within our organization. You will have opportunities to expand your skills by managing Full-Stack Meraki Networks, Azure Resources, Active Directory Environments and Microsoft 365 Services, along with contributing your own ideas to drive future growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
REQUIRED:
CLIENT SUPPORT:
- Provide comprehensive support to clients via the IT Helpdesk to resolve IT issues efficiently.
- Apply principles of customer service while upholding the principles of least privilege.
TECHNICAL IMPLEMENTATION:
- Implement desktop imaging and operating system deployment on both new and existing hardware.
- Manage user accounts, email systems, and VOIP phone system administration.
APPLICATION AND HARDWARE SUPPORT:
- Support applications such as Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, web browsers, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues promptly.
DOCUMENTATION AND PROCEDURES:
- Develop and maintain procedure documentation and FAQ guides for user queries and admin tasks.
- Ensure documentation is kept current and accessible for team use.
COLLABORATION AND CLIENT INTERACTION:
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members over phone calls, email and chat to ensure clear understanding of issues and solutions.
- Travel to client sites as needed to provide support and consultative services.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT:
- Identify opportunities for streamlining processes and improving client satisfaction.
- Stay current with industry trends and new technologies to contribute to team knowledge.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science (CS), Networking, or a related field preferred.
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS:
- CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
- Microsoft Azure
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Mastery of Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and Active Directory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration.
- Familiarity with Google G Suite.
- Knowledge of desktop imaging and operating system deployment.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on customer service.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Must pass pre-employment testing, including background checks and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checks.
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed and work some nights and weekends.
